| CVD Third From 16th Saturday At Grandview |

BECHTELSVILLE, PA - Craig Von Dohren rolled from 16th starting spot to finish third in Saturday night's NASCAR Whelen All-American Series 358-Modified feature at Grandview Speedway.
Von Dohren lost several positions on lap three during a frontstretch skirmish, putting his No. 1c behind the other top drivers in the field.
Carving through traffic, CVD arrived in third place on lap 22 and nearly beat Jeff Strunk to the line for second after an extended side-by-side battle.
Friday's racing at Big Diamond (Pa.) Raceway fell to rain.
CVD lost a victory in Wednesday's Race of Champions Dart Dirt Modified Tour 'RoC On The Hill' 60 when his right-rear tire went down leading with seven circuits left.
CVD will be in action at Bridgeport (N.J.) Speedway Tuesday for a Tri-Track Series event. |
