| CVD Second & Sixth In Bridgeport Twin 20s |

BRIDGEPORT, NJ - Craig Von Dohren put together second- and sixth-place finishes in Tuesday night's George Wingate Classic 'Old School Twin 20s' for big-block Modifieds at Bridgeport Speedway.
Driving Mike Harvey's No. 1c Teo-Pro car, CVD led the opening 10 laps of the first even before Chad James slid by on a restart. Regrouping on the outside lane, Von Dohren nearly regained the top spot when a caution flew on lap 19.
With only a single green-flag lap left, Von Dohren settled for second.
In the second 20-lapper, track position was the biggest obstacle and CVD weaved to a sixth-place result.
A brake issues during hot laps was resolved in time for qualifying.
Racing resumes this weekend at Big Diamond (Pa.) Raceway Friday and Grandview (Pa.) Speedway Saturday. |
