Two Top-Five Finishes For CVD
OLEY, PA - Craig Von Dohren netted two top-five finishes during the weekend on the Pennsylvania Dual-Track circuit.

On Friday night, CVD started 10th, was shuffled back on a mid-race restart and raced to a respectable fifth-place finish in the 25-lap 358-Modified feature at Big Diamond (Pa.) Raceway. Von Dohren completed a late pass of Doug Manmiller to take fifth.

Saturday night's 30-lap NASCAR Whelen All-American Series 358-Modified feature was an exercise in resilience for the Mike Harvey Enterprises team. Pitting to repair a broken left-front shock tower on lap four, Von Dohren carved through traffic to finish fifth and maintain a top-five points position.

Racing continues at Grandview on Saturday, with the $10,000-to-win Coalcracker 100 at Big Diamond set for Sunday.
