CVD Wins Chad Miller Memorial
MINERSVILLE, PA - Craig Von Dohren remained undefeated at Big Diamond Raceway during the month of August with a sweep of Friday night's Chad Miller Memorial festivities at Big Diamond Raceway.

Von Dohren drove Mike Harvey's No. 1c from 10th into the lead on the 12th lap after an intense battle with Jeff Strunk and Rick Laubach. Once in front, CVD powered to his 63rd career Big D victory in the 30-lap event, worth $3,500 plus lap money.

Von Dohren was honored to take home the "Chad Cup" in honor of the Boyertown teenager who lost his life last summer.

"This is a great race for a terrible cause," he said.

At night's end, the 10-fastest cars were assembled for a 10-lap Dash for Cash paying the winner $1,000. Von Dohren got the lead on the opening lap and never looked back, adding to his bankroll.

CVD now has four straight victories between Big Diamond and Grandview (Pa.) and five in the last six races.
